Congratulations to Mohammad for his first peer-reviewed manuscript from his work in our lab, published in the Journal of NeuroEngineering and Rehabilitation! He used musculoskeletal modeling techniques to explore the extent to which abnormal motor modules are emergent from abnormal biomechanics. Link.

Pilot Grant from the UF Pepper Center

The NeuroMob Lab received a Pilot Grant from the UF Claude D. Pepper Older American’s Independence Center. They will be exploring the neuromuscular control of walking balance in older adults spanning a range of balance abilities in both laboratory and real-world settings. 

NeuroMob Lab attends OpenSim Advanced Users Workshop

Dr. Allen and Kaitlyn attended the 2024 OpenSim Advanced Users workshop held on the Stanford Campus. They worked on advancing their simulations of gait using OpenSim Moco and developing new matlab and python code leveraging the OpenSim API to perform custom optimizations.
